Style with scarves

Scarves are such versatile accessories that can turn a simple outfit into something chic and sophisticated. They remind me of glamorous 1950’s screen actresses, being chauffeured around in open top cars with their hair stylishly swept up in a silk scarf.

I like to wear scarves over simple tops and jumpers and find they add elegance to t-shirt and jeans on days when I can’t be bothered to wear anything too ‘fashionable’.
